Going Beyond: Innovative Integration of Sustainable and Energy-Efficient Solutions in Building Design

Last Friday, on March 22nd, our project coordinator Maria Founti showcased the PLURAL project at the final workshop of our sister initiative, Powerskin+. The event, titled "Going Beyond: Innovative Integration of Sustainable and Energy-Efficient Solutions in Building Design," provided a platform to delve into key aspects central to advancing sustainable construction practices in Europe, particularly innovative building façade solutions for curtain wall systems.

Maria presented the role of innovative prefabricated envelope solutions for Zero Energy and Zero Emission Buildings, shedding light on both the PLURAL project and GreeNest project, in which she serves as a project coordinator since January 2024. Maria highlighted the key results and experiences learnt of the PLURAL project and demonstrated how these initiatives are reshaping the construction landscape by pushing boundaries and setting new standards.

Are you intrigued by the significance of renovation towards Nearly Zero Energy Buildings (NZEB) and Zero Energy Buildings (ZEB)? Curious about the benefits offered by off-site prefabrication? We invite you to download Maria's insightful presentation.
